Those who participate in playing the Pennsylvania Lottery should regularly check their tickets. Two different winning tickets, each worth at least $2.5 million, expire in fewer than two months.

According to a press release distributed by the state lottery, there are both Match 6 Lotto and Cash 5 with Quick Cash jackpot-winning tickets that haven't been turned in yet. These were sold in Wayne County and Westmoreland County, respectively.

Players have until May 2, 2025, to claim the Match 6 Lotto winnings, while the Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket becomes invalid on May 9.

The other unclaimed Pennsylvania Lottery winner is a Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket that was purchased at the Murrysville SHOP 'n SAVE. The store is located at 4536 William Penn Highway and sold the ticket for the May 8, 2024 drawing.

Again, the ticket matched all the winning numbers: 14-22-33-35-38. This Cash 5 jackpot is totaled at more than $2.6 million overall. The last day to claim this prize is Thursday, May 8.

The state lottery urges players to check every ticket every time they buy, in addition to signing their name to the back of the winning ones to show proof of ownership. Those with a winning ticket should call the lottery and make an appointment to visit one of seven available area offices that are open to the public. Offices are open between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

If these jackpot winners go unclaimed, the prizes will be left in the Lottery Fund and are utilized for programs supporting the state's senior residents.
