Easter weekend delivered more than chocolate bunnies and egg hunts for Pennsylvania Lottery players. The Match 6 in-state draw game hatched not one, but two jackpot-winning tickets in back-to-back drawings.

With more than $2.8 million in combined prizes suddenly on the table, the excitement stretched from Butler County to Allegheny County as local retailers handed out tickets that would soon become life-changing slips of paper. If you bought a ticket this weekend, now might be a good time to check your numbers.

First jackpot winner

Easter weekend kicked off with a bang in Pennsylvania with the Friday, April 18, drawing of Match 6. The winning numbers for that drawing were 10, 14, 25, 26, 31, and 41.

One lucky ticket matched all of the winning numbers to win the $2.36 million jackpot, less applicable withholdings.

The winning ticket was purchased at Freedom Market, located at 1071 Freedom Road in Cranberry Township, Butler County. For selling the winning ticket, the lucky lottery retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus from the state lottery.

Second jackpot winner

The jackpot winning continued on Saturday for Match 6 players. The winning numbers for the April 19 drawing were 1, 4, 16, 23, 24, and 31.

Since there was a jackpot winner on Friday night, the jackpot reset to $500,000 for the Saturday night drawing. During that drawing, one lucky ticket matched all the winning numbers drawn to win the $500,000, less applicable withholdings.

That winning ticket was purchased at Giant Eagle, located at 5055 Library Road in Bethel Park, Allegheny County. For selling the winning ticket, the lucky lottery retailer will receive a $500 bonus from the state lottery.

Claiming your prize

If you happen to be one of those lucky jackpot winners in Pennsylvania this past weekend, you have one year from the date of the drawing to claim your prize. Of course, winners are not known until the prizes have been claimed and tickets are validated by lottery officials.

To claim your prize, you must 加拿大28预测开奖:download a claim form, and you can either mail the completed claim form along with your signed ticket to the address on the form or file the claim in person at a lottery area office, which is open to the public between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. EST on Monday through Friday.

Winners all around

While Match 6 provided two jackpot winners over the weekend, the in-state draw game also provided a large list of non-jackpot winners during those same two drawings. In total, there were over 87,000 tickets from both drawings that won prizes of various amounts.

For the Friday night drawing, there were 62,550 tickets that won non-jackpot prizes. Those prizes totaled $226,641 for Friday night.

For the Saturday night drawing, there were 24,726 tickets that won non-jackpot prizes. Those prizes totaled $96,190 for Saturday night.

Any lower-tier prizes $600 or less can be claimed at any lottery retailer throughout the state. For those lower-tier prizes of $600.01 or above, they must be claimed at any lottery area office like mentioned above.

Enjoy playing the Pennsylvania Lottery, and please remember to play responsibly.
