The Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL) has new Board officers and Product Group chairs in place, and they're ready for an aggressive potential rollout of multiple new product offerings for lottery players.

The new product timeline

• Fall 2026 - potential Powerball enhancements

Pedal to the metal approach

It is all about a pedal-to-the-metal approach for the MUSL, which continues to gain momentum. These developments are being led by Board President Drew Svitko, executive director of the 加拿大28预测开奖:Pennsylvania Lottery. He happened to be a driving force in the development of a third weekly Powerball drawing and the Double Play add-on feature.

The national games category has seen exceptional growth in the past two to three years, and it underscores MUSL's commitment to support member lotteries with new development initiatives. This is all coming after the MUSL achieved a record number of sales for Fiscal Year 2024. They had a total of $11.7 billion in sales of products facilitated by the Association, including a record year for Powerball, Power Play, and Double Play sales.

Powerball research

The MUSL recently completed its first-ever comprehensive brand research on Powerball at the national, regional, and state levels. Matt Strawn, CEO of the 加拿大28预测开奖:Iowa Lottery, has taken over as Powerball Product Group Chair and will be utilizing this research to make possible enhancements to the Powerball game.

Jackpot USA — first new product launch

The first new product to hit the market will be Jackpot USA, which is a fast play game priced at $20. It offers progressive jackpots that start out at $1 million.

The game will also feature a bonus game of key-symbol matching with prizes ranging from $10 to $50. Jackpot USA is slated to launch in late September.

MUSL to join forces with NFL

Next up is a NFL national product, which continues to gain steam. The NFL and MUSL are both working on the concept of the game and development of it.

This collaboration has allowed the MUSL to get direct access to NFL fans, with the final product concept for the NFL-themed game to be presented to the MUSL Board of Directors for approval this fall. If approved, it will be scheduled to launch in the fall of 2025.

Another new game to join the mix

In spring 2025, lottery players could see a new National for Life game be established. The game has been established within the past year, and the Product Group has already evaluated $2 and $5 game models.

The final decision on the new National for Life game is expected soon, with MUSL leaders tentatively scheduling a spring 2025 launch for the new game. However, this depends on the progress of the NFL-themed game. The two could swap launch dates if needed in order to keep the product rollouts progressing.
